GENEFORGE: Pipeline Zero
Every generation must improve. Every frame must survive.
GENEFORGE: Pipeline Zero is a mobile-first factory strategy and arcade benchmark game set inside a volatile clone-production facility.
Construct a Clone Processing Pipeline across a 12×6 factory floor using spawners, tracks, mutation gates, breeders, genome sorters, holding pens, cull gates, render limiters, shader coolers and genome vaults. Then activate a live performance test and discover whether your design can produce the required batch without collapsing under its own rendering workload.
Obey the Ascension Law
Primary Spawners produce C₁,₂ clones. Every legal offspring must increase both genome coordinates:
Cₓ,ᵧ → Cₓ₊₁,ᵧ₊₁ or higher
Correctly routed clones evolve into more valuable—and more demanding—generations. Regression gates create illegal red clones, jams, stacked-layer errors and dangerous performance spikes.
Three Generations. Three Rendering Technologies.
Each clone class is rendered using the technology it represents:
- Generation 1 — 60Hz: white full-body DOM characters
- Generation 2 — 120Hz: green full-body Canvas 2D characters
- Generation 3+ — 144/240Hz: magenta and cyan textured WebGL characters
Higher generations earn better contracts, but place heavier pressure on the CPU, GPU and frame budget.
Build. Benchmark. Diagnose. Cull.
Every contract follows a live production cycle:
- Build and optimize your pipeline.
- Launch a timed benchmark test.
- Monitor FPS, frame time, dropped frames and workload.
- Diagnose jams, regressions and degradation spikes.
- Tap or swipe unstable clones to cull them.
- Deliver the required genome batch and earn certification.
The testing HUD tracks live FPS, frame time, dropped frames, clone populations, Hz classifications, CPU and GPU workload, touch input, stacked-layer errors and an event-marked degradation graph.
